Back in the 60's, Gigantor took the US airwaves by storm. He was one of the first Japanese series to hit our shores. This Giant Robot hero was known as Tetsujin 28 (Iron Man 28) in Japan. A whole generation of children where transfixed by the concept of a huge robot controlled by a young boy.A classic returns in a beautiful, die cast version by Bandai that stands 7 ½ inches tall. With his arms posed over his head he stands almost 9 inches tall. He has over 17 points of articulation including toes that bend. He is finished in a metallic blue, has a detailed Rocket Pack on his back, 3 extra pairs of hands for different poses and a remote control unit. Also included are a figure of Kaneda Shoutarou (little boy and controller) and a display base.
A switch in his back turns on Gigantor’s eyes. By placing the included remote control unit somewhere over Gigantor’s belly, his lit eyes turn red, indicating his evil mode.
